Welcome to our December 2024 product update! We're excited to share several enhancements to Luzmo that will make your data visualization and analytics experience even more powerful and intuitive.

Let’s dive into what’s new!

Period Comparisons

Now officially out of beta and available to all users, period comparisons make it effortless to benchmark performance against previous periods, helping your users uncover meaningful trends and insights.

With the Period Comparison dropdown in the chart slot menu, you have four options to choose from:

• No comparison: View data for the current period (default option).
• Past value: View data of a previous time interval.
• Absolute change: See the numerical difference between periods.
• % change: Track percentage growth or decline over time.

Whether analyzing monthly revenue or year-over-year growth, period comparisons empower your users across industries to measure progress and make informed decisions.

Usage Analytics

Understand your dashboards usage patterns through Usage Analytics, an embedded dashboard within Luzmo that shows:

• Generic Data: Overall usage metrics.
• Dashboard Usage: Top 10 viewed dashboards and the top 20 active viewers.
• Dashboard Logins: Access data showing who viewed what and when, and via which access method.
• User Logins: Individual user activity and viewing patterns.

Monitoring dashboard engagement helps you prioritize content based on user interest and identify potential areas for improvement. You can also access the raw dataset to build your own custom dashboards and visualizations.

Usage Analytics is your essential tool for creating dashboards that are informative, engaging, and truly valuable to your viewers.

Please note: Usage Analytics is only available to Organization Owners on Pro, Elite, and Enterprise Plans. Pro users will have access to 1 month of data, while Elite and Enterprise users will have access to 1 year of data.

AI Dataset Column Descriptions

Dashboard Editor Data Side Menu

We've made some behind-the-scenes improvements to the Luzmo dashboard editor to streamline your data management experience.

The Data side menu now features: 

• Easier data source identification: Instantly spot data sources with new logos.
• Improved filtering and sorting: Find exactly what you need with dataset filtering and sorting options.
• Favorite datasets: Star frequently used datasets for easy access.
• Quick actions simplified: Create derived columns and formulas directly from the dataset view.

These updates will make your data exploration and analysis faster, simpler and more efficient.
